Since its inception in 2021, SZ4Grads has developed into a community of several hundred graduate students and graduates across the world, including 10 executive committee members who organize networking events at conferences, plan online webinars, and interface directly with SZ4D to communicate the needs and roles of ECRs in the future of subduction zone science. While the current executive committee US-based, we openly encourage graduate students and graduates from other institutions worldwide to join the executive committee.
