How can you get involved in SZ4Grads?

Join the SZ4Grads community and connect with fellow early-career researchers through our social media platforms or by attending events at conferences. For those looking to take a more active role, you can volunteer on the Executive Committee, which collaborates with SZ4D and BECG, organizes webinars, and keeps our community thriving (keep an eye out for our calls!). You can also participate in mentorship opportunities through SZ4D to connect with senior scientists.

At its core, SZ4Grads is about sharing ideas, exploring opportunities to grow, fostering new collaborations, and exchanging resources to improve and promote equitable research practices. Whether you engage casually or take on a leadership role, you’ll find a supportive network dedicated to advancing subduction zone science together.

Want to volunteer on the SZ4Grads ExComm?

We’re looking for enthusiastic Early Career Researchers who want to contribute to our mission. If you or someone you know is interested, we encourage you to apply!

SZ4Grads envisions a diverse and collaborative feature for subduction zone science. Our goal is to foster connections among Early Career Researchers while making the journey fun and rewarding. We also work closely with SZ4D’s Building Equity and Capacity in Geoscience (BECG) committee to advocate for the unique needs of ECRs.

Whether you are interested in contributing to our webinars, events, social media, or bringing new ideas to the table, we would love to hear from you. Join us and help shape the future of SZ4Grads!
